Stable Cell Lines

Stable Cell Development

   West Bioscience can help you generate stable cell lines that express high level of your target protein at homogeneous levels. 

  The gene of interest will be cloned into your desired mammalian expression vector. The parent cell line (CHO, HEK293 or any your cell lines) will be tested for its sensitivity to antibiotics and optimized for transfection. The stable cell line is selected by appropriate antibiotics. The individual stable clone will be screened by Western Blot for optimal expression

Gene Construction

Site-Directed Mutagenesis

   West Bioscience can use either a PCR mutagenesis approach, or an oligonucleotide-directed approach to make site-directed mutagenesis. 

   All mutagenesis clones are fully sequenced. A mini-scale plasmid preparation, and a stab culture of the strain carrying the plasmid, along with a detailed report will be delivered. 

Gene Cloning

   West Bioscience can design and clone your specified gene using PCR amplification from your DNA source (plasmid, or cDNA) or synthetic gene. The gene can be cloned into any plasmid vectors you specified. 

   All final cloned sequences will be fully sequenced to ensure the integrity. A stab culture of the strain carrying the plasmid, along with a detailed report will be delivered.
